I had a spell-binding time exploring the dramatic landscapes of North Wales in 2023. A particular highlight was climbing Yr Wyddfa; me and a couple of friends tackled this mighty mountain. We went via the Pyg Track on the way up and the Miner's Track on the way down. It was a challenging walk but the reward is immense, with extremely beautiful views on display. It felt like we'd found ourselves in the land of Middle Earth from Lord of the Rings, with towering mountains and rolling hills as far as the eye could see. I also had the pleasure of exploring Conwy and Portmeirion; equally lovely and quaint places.
