Hello, and welcome! ✨
I'm Sophie; an illustrator and graphic designer based in South Wales. I've had the pleasure of working in the art department on film and TV productions across the UK for the past six years.
My most memorable career moments have included photoshopping Richard Madden's arms to make him more tanned, being paid to scribble literal baby drawings in crayon, and manifesting my way onto Doctor Who after being a hardcore fan since I was 9 years old.
I stumbled upon production design as a career avenue and decided it sounded absolutely perfect. I've yet to be proven wrong; I love the creative sandbox that I get to play around in, using design to tell stories, weave narratives and build worlds for the screen. I also dabble in illustration work on the side (like a true workaholic) and I've provided lots of colourful stylised drawings for lovely clients. When not working I'm most probably found hiking up a mountain with my camera, or enjoying some live music.
I am always keen to connect with new people, either to discuss collaborations or just to have a chat - preferably in person, with a cup of tea in hand.
People I've worked with:
